New Term
Traditional music classes resume this Saturday, September 5th, at 9:15am in St. John Pauls National School, Malahide.
Classes available for adults and children in fiddle, bodhrán, tin whistle, flute, concertina, guitar and button accordion.

Fleadh Atha Cliath 2009
Congratulations also to two of our teachers, Grace Dowling & Niall Preston who along with Eimear Toal, achieved first place in the Under 18 trio.

Feis Atha Cliath Winners
The branch wish to congratulate our feis atha cliath winners and their teachers. We are delighted with the great progress being made by our students as the Malahide branch grows from strength to strength. Well done to all.
Mairead Maguire who came 1st in U12 Tin Whistle and 2nd in U12 Fiddle & her teacher Aideen Cashman.
Sarah Deneher who came 1st in the U12 Button Accordian & her teacher Grace Dowling.
Rachel Finucane who came 2nd in the U15 Flute 
& her teacher Mairead Hughes. 
We seem to be having some issues with the video section on the site now showing the content. While we try to resolve this issue, you can also view the clips on the malahidecce YouTube page at http://www.youtube.com/malahidecce
We have just launched a new video section on the site where we will post videos of our memebers performing various pieces of music. The first videos to be added are a selection of tunes performed by John & Gerard Morgan on mouth organ and piano. Please click on the video section of the menu to view all of the clips.

New Term
On behalf of all the committee members of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann Malahide, we would like to wish all of our members and their families a very happy New Year.
Classes will resume on Saturday January 10th in St. Oliver Plunketts National School, Grove Road, Malahide from 9:15am to 12:00pm.

Term Dates
Class dates for this term are as follows:
- September 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th.
- October 4th, 11th & 18th.
There will be no classes on Ocotber 26th or November 1st.
- November 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th.
- December 6th & 13th.
The last class for this term will be December 13th. As in previous terms, we hope to organise a session before the end of the year. This is a great opportunity for our young musicians to play together and experience the athmosphere and sense of comradery at these events. As soon as a date is arranged we will inform you of the time and venue.
